Show Notes

For this pilot episode, we sat down with LaQuinton Wagner, a youth consultant for Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS), a grantee of the Hogg Foundation. LaQuinton opens up about this experiences in the foster care system, and how he found his voice as an advocate for youth in the years since he transitioned out of that system. He also speaks eloquently on the mental health challenges that "transition-age" youth frequently encounter, and on the systems change that needs to happen in order to address the problem.
